Head of Marketing / Growth (Enterprise AI | 0-to-1 Builder)
Location: Onsite – San Francisco, CA
Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 base salary
Additional Compensation: Equity

The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for a fast-growing enterprise AI startup seeking a Head of Marketing / Growth to build and scale its marketing function from the ground up.
This is a true 0-to-1 leadership role for a builder—someone who thrives in early-stage environments, operates with founder-level ownership, and can translate deeply technical innovation into clear, compelling market narratives.
You will own how the company shows up to the world: positioning, pipeline generation, storytelling, growth experiments, and the marketing infrastructure that powers the next phase of scale.
This is not a fit for candidates coming from e-commerce, consumer-heavy marketing backgrounds, or hands-off leadership styles. Stable career progression and hands-on execution are essential.
What You'll Do
Candidates will be considered for interview based on demonstrated ability to lead and execute across the following:

Design and run integrated marketing campaigns across email, web, SEO/GEO, paid search, and organic channels to drive awareness and qualified pipeline

Own the company's narrative and content strategy, including thought leadership, customer storytelling, launches, and community-building

Build and continuously optimize acquisition and distribution strategies across organic and paid channels

Analyze performance data, run growth experiments, and iterate quickly to unlock new pipeline levers

Partner directly with founders, product, engineering, and sales to align messaging, enable launches, and amplify customer wins

Build the marketing foundation: tooling, dashboards, automation workflows, reporting, and scalable playbooks

Stay ahead of platform shifts and algorithm changes (LinkedIn, X, search trends) to maximize traction and reach

Operate as both strategic leader and hands-on executor—this is not a delegation-only role
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
These qualifications are mandatory. Candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered.

5–10 years of marketing experience, with at least 4–6+ years in high-growth startup environments

Proven success building marketing functions from scratch (0-to-1) while remaining hands-on

Full-stack B2B marketing expertise across the funnel: demand generation, SEO/GEO, paid search, lifecycle, and organic growth

Experience in enterprise B2B industries such as compliance, fintech, security, AI infrastructure, or adjacent markets

Strong ability to translate complex technical products into compelling, customer-centered positioning

Track record of executing launches, campaigns, and growth initiatives with measurable business impact

Fluency with modern marketing and analytics tools (HubSpot, GA, Webflow, Notion, Figma, etc.)

Must be local to San Francisco and able to work onsite

Stable resume with consistent tenure and sustained impact (no freelance-heavy or jumpy backgrounds)
