Location: Hybrid – New York, NY
Compensation: $70,000 – $88,000 base salary
Additional Compensation: Full benefits package + annual bonus
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorship now or in the future
The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for a premier law firm seeking a Coordinator, Talent Acquisition & Development to support attorney recruiting and professional development initiatives.
This role is highly operational, detail-driven, and people-facing. It plays a meaningful part in shaping the firm's attorney pipeline and development experience, with a strong focus on campus recruiting, summer associate programs, and ongoing attorney development efforts. Success in this role requires organization, discretion, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional services environment.
Candidates must bring stable work history and experience in a law firm or comparable professional services setting to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition

Coordinate campus recruiting efforts, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, hiring committee preparation, and prospect outreach

Support summer associate programs, including work assignment coordination, training sessions, and firm-sponsored events

Assist with new attorney onboarding, orientation planning, and early integration activities

Track and monitor the local recruiting budget, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting

Partner closely with members of the Global Talent Acquisition team to execute firmwide recruiting initiatives
Talent Development

Coordinate local associate relations events and in-house training programs

Support implementation of firmwide professional development initiatives, including coaching programs and training academies

Monitor and track associate relations and development budgets

Collaborate with the Global Talent Development team to ensure alignment with broader firm objectives
Additional Responsibilities

Provide support for recruiting and firm events, including work outside standard business hours as needed

Travel as required to support recruiting programs and initiatives

Assist with additional projects and talent-related initiatives as assigned
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

Bachelor's degree required

2+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment

Demonstrated experience with campus recruiting (required)

Stable employment history with evidence of reliability and professional continuity

Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and written communication

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and discretion
