Overview
HireNow Staffing is partnering with a highly regarded law firm to hire a Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist for its Phoenix office. This is an essential role within a fast-paced litigation support team, requiring deep expertise in rule-based calendaring, multi-jurisdiction deadline management, and procedural accuracy.
This position is ideal for a seasoned docketing professional who can operate independently, ensure firmwide compliance with court rules, and serve as a mentor and escalation point for complex litigation calendaring matters.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Litigation Docketing Specialist will play a critical role in protecting the firm's litigation practice by ensuring deadlines are accurately captured, calculated, and maintained. Responsibilities include:

Reviewing litigation filings and legal documents to identify key deadlines and procedural requirements

Creating, updating, and maintaining docket entries in Aderant CompuLaw
-
Performing manual deadline calculations when rules require customized interpretation

Monitoring deadlines across federal, state, and local jurisdictions to ensure strict compliance

Maintaining highly accurate docket data and producing litigation calendar reports as needed

Researching and tracking updates to court rules, procedural changes, and jurisdiction-specific requirements

Serving as a senior resource for attorneys and litigation teams on docketing and calendaring questions

Mentoring and training docketing staff, including onboarding and procedural guidance

Supporting the Docketing Manager with special projects, process improvements, and firmwide initiatives
Required Qualifications (Core Requirements)
Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for interview:

5–7 years of direct litigation docketing experience within a law firm environment
-
Hands-on expertise using Aderant CompuLaw or another rule-based calendaring platform
-
Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules and filing procedures
-
Proven ability to interpret complex pleadings and extract procedural deadlines with precision
-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience mentoring, training, or guiding junior docketing staff
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism

Ability to work in a hybrid schedule based in Phoenix, AZ

Authorized to work in the U.S. with no sponsorship now or in the future

Comfortable with the compensation range of $41.21 – $46.70 per hour
